From the media blog comes word of the edict, issued late last week by executive vice president, production John Wildhack and senior vice president, talent development & planning Laurie Orlando. Said the ESPN suits: ??Recently, there have been numerous incidents in which the word ??sucks?? has been used on our air. This word is simply not appropriate for ESPN.?? So what do you think of the edict eliminating the word sucks from ESPN's sports coverage? Don??t the word sucks and sports coverage go together like ball and bat and kicking and punting?
